The 13th Annual Queen of the Court Classic did not dissapoint! Lady Proskills swept the 3rd and 4th grade divisions. They are setting the bar high in regards to where these younger kids need to be at. So hates off to Lady Proskills 2033 & 2032 coaches for doing a great job of setting the bar high and making other programs step their games up. Proskills has some of the top guards in the 2033 & 2032 classes. I am definitely looking forward to seeing these young ladies grow over the next couple of years! Ta'Niya Jones 2033 is defitnely a player to keep your eyes on as she is simply fun to watch and a walking highlight reel so get your phones out as its about to be a show! Don't get me wrong 2033 Team Lex & Hoop Soceity/Lady Jets have some super talented kids too so they are right there with Proskills meaning the future of the women's game is good hands!

The 2031 Division was another division featuring some of the top teams in the state and the country. The stage was set for the much anticipated match up between AB Elite 2031 & DC Queens 2031 (GN) who are 2 of the top 2031 teams in the state of Texas and top ten in the country. The Queens jumped out to an early lead vs. AB Elite as their pressure made it hard for AB Elite to get the ball to their standout 6ft post (Alexis Parker 2031). The Queens balanced attack on the offensive end allowed them to open up an early double digit lead that was just too much for AB Elite to bounce back from. Jhada Rogers, Vy Green (MVP) & Laila Thomas had some big buckets early on while (Post) Peytynn Bell & Charleigh Summer did a great job containg Ms. Parker and pulling down somem big boards. AB Elite made a late run but the Queens managed to answer every run their opponent made with new addition Kennedy Nichols making a couple key 2nd half buckets to help the Queens seel the "W".

The 6th Grade championship game came down to the wire with True Texas Hoops 2030 vs Victoay Academy 2030. These 2 teams went back and forth the whole game but (Forward) Arianna Medlock had her way and was either getting good looks around the basket or setting her teammates up for easy looks cause the double teams she was drawing. Great win for True Texas over a talented Victory Academy squad. Dream Chasers dominated the middle school division beating their 2029 swquad in the finals! Academy of Hoops (AOH) 2029 who has one of the top 2029 teams in the country jumped up 2 grades to win the 9th grade division in an impressive fashion. Arianna's strength and skill set make her a walking ,mismatch,& as she expands her game further away from the basket,to add a consistent3 ball to her game she will be an even harder match-up for opposing teams. Coach Austin Johnson has a talented squad with multiple D-1 ballers. 2030 PG Trinity Boyd is one of the top players in the 2030 class and Addy Johnson (2029) is a big time bicket getting guard with a high IQ that can easily play both guard positions at a high level. Then to close out the Open High School Division Triumph Select (Gold) pulled off an impressive win over talented but younger underclassman team from AOH. Triumph teams are always well coached and skilled and imply play the game the right way. Triumph made plays down the stretch to hold on for the impressive dub to be crowned QUEENS OF THE COURT 2024!

THANK YOU to all the teams that participated
