CBE Exposure Basketball Tournaments

Hello Coach, 

Thank you for joining us for the Texas Regional Championships at TXSU. 

We look forward to serving your team and having a great event. 

Please see below for important information and attachments. 

 

Final Schedule: 

The schedule has posted and is now online at www.cbetournaments.com 

We attempted to meet as many scheduling requests as possible keeping in mind that some coaches coach multiple teams, work schedules, distance traveling, court space, etc.

Thank you for understanding and we look forward to a great event at Texas State University this upcoming weekend. 

 

Travel: 

Please arrive at least 30 min before all your game times. Each morning the public doors and Event gate will open 20min before the first game time.

Keep in mind that the university will be holding several events in the area and on campus that can cause traffic congestion. Please allow for adequate travel and parking. 

We strive to keep games on time so please be mindful of traffic and construction delays.

 

Parking:

Attached is a map of the Speck Garage which is down from the Texas State Univ Rec Center. (attached)

Parking is $5 per day and is good until midnight the same day. In some cases, some weekends are free parking in the garage. Please be prepared either way.

There is a drop off and pickup area in front of the Rec building. Only student parking with permit is allowed in the front parking lot - anyone else parks at their own risk as we assume no responsibility for towed vehicles and recommend all spectators, parents, teams, and coaches utilize the event parking garage. 

The Speck Parking garage is to the right of the Rec Center in front of the water tower.

 

Rosters:

Coaches, Please complete the online roster form for each team on the website at www.cbetournaments.com under the "Headlines" "Event Roster Form" no later than Thursday evening at 9pm. The Tournament Rules are also located on the website. If your organization has multiple teams in this event, please mark each team specfically on each score sheet.

 

College Recruiting Services and College Evaluations:

If you have any high school athletes that have the skill level to play at the next level, good academics, and have the desire to play college basketball, they can sign up for a free basketball evaluation.

Please have the family scan the QR Code on the "National Scouting Report" table near the Team Chat Rooms and complete the online Basketball "Scout Me" form.

In addition, have them sign up on the clipboard and add their game times/courts so evaluator's can view them on the court.

Janell Smith - College Scout for Men's and Women's Basketball and Assistants will be evaluating on Sunday Only.  College Coaches are always welcome. Families and athletes that sign up for the free evaluations will be contacted after the event as well.

 

 

TXSU Waivers:

Texas State University is requesting and requiring Waiver Forms - Adult and Minor - to be completed for each team athlete, team parent, Coach, and Staff member. These waivers for your organization must be completed and turned in at coach's checkin prior to your first game. All forms must be turned in before taking to the floor.  (Please download and print the attached forms for each)

Spectators do not have to complete.

 

The University has so many great and fun areas that might spark the interest of young eyes, both downstairs and upstairs. These areas are not part of the tournament and are no access.  Athletes and Spectators are not allowed in areas not associated with the tournament.  TXST staff enforcing.
We ask that coaches and parents monitor their athletes for the safety and protection of all and TXSU property. 

Coaches - please remember to turn in your packet of waivers for your organization at checkin prior to your first game. 

Adult Waiver - Parent, Coach, Staff (attached)

Minor - Parent completes for the athlete (attached)

 

Admissions - Gate: (Cash or Card)

We know how important it is for families to enjoy and watch their athletes. Our gate accepts cash, major credit cards, and debit cards.

Daily Admission: $20

Kids Ages 6-8: $10 

Kids 5 and under FREE 

Credit cards (add one-time $3 card processing fee)

New different color bands will be given each day. 

 

Concession Stand: (Cash Only)

There will be a concession stand that will have an assortment of foods including Chicken Fajitas and Beef Fajitas and much, much, more. 

 

Vendors - Gifts: (Cash or Card) 

In light of this past weekend celebration of Mother's Day, we will also have a vendor onsite that will have $5 jewelry gifts and accessories if you need a last minute gift or surprise for a mother or a special someone.

 

Coaches Passes:

Upon recieving your Waivers at Coaches Checkin - we will have the coach of the teams to sign-in and recieve thier band. 2 coaches band per team will be given. 

Please reply to this email with the 2 coaches that will sign for a band. Bands are for Coaches only that will sit on the bench to coach the players. 

 

Onsite Coach Support Desk:

After 5pm Thursday and throughout the weekend, the back office will be closed as staff will be traveling to the event, therefore for your convenience, at the event, the Coaches' Checkin Desk will also be where coaches can ask questions during the event.
