St. Michael won the 2024 Cambria Legion Championship with a 6-1 win over top seed Bedford Monday night.  The Saints won their third straight title and will now advance to the Region 7 Tournament which begins next week in Claysburg, PA.  In a twist of events, the Best-of-three format was shortened to one game after one of the Central Penn League's Regional qualifying teams was disqualified for not playing 12 regular season games.  Therefore, the Cambria League was awarded a second bid which meant both participants in the championship round received a berth to the Region 7 Tournament.
