Subscribe to our Newsletter2024.09.09 - Walk With Us to Raise Awareness and Funding for Suicide Prevention
Each year, it is a Homecoming tradition for the Boys Soccer program to identify and help raise awareness and support funding for a charitable organization in our community.
This season, the Varsity Captains have chosen to promote suicide awareness and prevention and are asking for players, coaches, families, and friends of the program to join them in the Out of the Darkness South Shore Walk on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00 AM at Bare Cove Park in Hingham to help support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
We've registered a HHS Boys Soccer Team for the Walk, so please Save the Date and plan to join us rain or shine on September 21st morning. We will be following-up with additional details leading up to the Event, including a designated Walk Team meeting point near an entrance to the Park, but in the meantime please visit the Hingham High School Boys Soccer Team page for additional Walk details or to make or solicit a Donation on behalf of the Boys Soccer program to support a cause that has affected many in our own community.
Additionally, to visibly advocate for the fight against suicide, the Varsity Players will also be wearing a custom designed jersey during the Homecoming Game on Sunday, October 13th.
Thanks in advance for your participation and support!
