West Islip Youth Basketball, through Mt. Vernon Fire Insurance, United States Liability Ins Co., and Philadelphia Indemnity Ins. Co, respectively; have the following insurance coverage:

Commercial Liability Insurance

Commercial general liability (CGL) insurance is a type of policy that provides coverage to a business for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage arising from the business’s operations, products, or injuries that occur on the business’s premises.[1]

Umbrella Insurance

Umbrella insurance is extra insurance that provides protection beyond existing limits and coverages of other policies. Umbrella insurance can provide coverage for injuries, property damage, certain lawsuits, and personal liability situations.[2]

Excess Medical Liability Insurance

Excess medical liability insurance, also known as umbrella insurance, extends beyond the limits of traditional liability policies. While primary liability insurance policies provide coverage up to a certain limit, excess liability insurance kicks in once those limits are exceeded. It covers claims that exceed the limits of a primary insurance policy. Essentially, it offers higher coverage limits to protect against catastrophic losses that go beyond the limits of other policies.[3]
