Women's Varsity Spring 2026 Season Information

Eligibility:  In general, our organization is designed for homeschool athletes who are at least "51%" homeschooled.  However, we are able to take a certain amount of non-homeschooled athletes.  Please contact empanthers.info@gmail.com or 586-224-0114 for more information. 

Ages:  Grades 8-12 (Eighth per coach discretion). 

Schedule: Fifteen-eighteen games and the end of season Midwest Regional in early June. Dates still TBD.  

Location:  Home games and practices are held at Bennett Park in Whitmore Lake.  Away games are held in Lansing, Canton, Saline, Bruce Township, Lapeer and Grand Blanc. This year, there is one Saturday travel to the Kalamazoo area for a double-header. 

Coach:  TBA

Playtime: Varsity is competitive; play to win, no playtime guaranteed.  However, our coaches do a great job of getting players in games according to the game dynamic.  NOTE:  Regular attendance is highly valued!

Parent Involvement: All parents are expected to contribute to the season by helping with some of our season jobs.  Parent jobs may include things like helping with our Panther Spirit Night, end of season party or banquet, uniforms, tournament, concessions or coach gift collection. 

End-of-Season Celebration:  The season finishes with a year-end banquet.  Please check out the online calendar for our full schedule; as of 11-30, the spring schedule is only partially finished but gives a good idea of what to expect.  The schedule is always subject to time tweaks, cancellations and other changes. 

Cost:  Cost is still TBD but typically runs around $425. There are partial scholarships available through Hamburg Rec for Hamburg Twp. residents.
