STODDARD, Wis. -- Anthony Bush and Don Miller participated in the WBA 35+ State Tournament for the Blooming Valley Blue Devils here on Friday and Saturday. Blooming Valley lost to Mellen, 12-2, in five innings on Friday night and lost to Menomonie, 7-6, on Saturday afternoon. It was the second year they played for Blooming Valley in the 35+ tournament.

 

Bush was the losing pitcher in Friday's game, which was marred by errors. Miller was the catcher. Saturday's game saw Bush at second base and Miller at third base. Both players got a hit in each game. 

 

Stoddard is located 11 miles south of La Crosse, Wis. Stoddard and La Crescent, Minn., were the host sites for the weekend tournament.
