T-Ball Information

If this is your first experience with baseball I would like to offer some insight.  You probably are new to baseball in town if you signed your son/daughter up for T-Ball.  So you just registered,  paid your dues.  What's next?

T-Ball usually begins in mid April depending on the weather.  Practices usually take place place on Wednesday evenings at 6PM at Carlock Field and Saturday's around 10 am in the morning.  T-Ball runs for approximately 6-8 weeks.  It covers the basic fundamentals of the game such as throwing (very soft balls) catching, hitting (off a tee) and running.  It is set up in a clinic type setting where the children move from station to station.  In order for T-Ball to be a meaningful experience we need lots of help.  There is a T-Ball Coordinator but he/she needs lots of assistants.  In order to assist or coach in town at any level you need to be "Rutgers Certified."  You only need to be certified once and that's why most people get it at the early baseball levels.    T-Ball is available for boys and girls ages 5 through 6.
