Congrats goes out to our very own 3rd/4th Grade Fast Pitch Team sponsored by Furry Friends Grooming Salon for their 3rd place finish in the 2012 Cross County Fast Pitch League Tournament held at Franklin Monroe over the weekend of June 22nd through the 24th. The ladies fought hard all weekend long before losing to Franklin Monroe in the finals of the losers bracket. FM went on to beat West Milton out of the losers bracket to win the tournament. The team was coached by head coach Jason Christman, and assistants, Nathan Hunt and Stacy Sykes.

Also competing in the weekend tournament was Double M Diner/Walker construction who lost to Tri County North in their opening game Saturday morning. They then came back in the losers bracket with a win over Arcanum #2 before losing late Saturday afternoon to Arcanum #3. All of the girls played hard, had some fun, and learned from a great experience. Congrats girls on a great season! The team was coached by head coach Shellie Walker, and assistants, Alishia Funk, Shawn Shaffer, and Keith Kretschmar.
