Texas ATTACK Baseball Club will participate in local events including USSSA, Triple Crown, Super Series, Pony and USTSA tournaments and/or leagues. Our Club works with other local clubs, and the local community youth baseball associations to organize, administer, and manage a higher level play between their community's teams and ours with a balanced amount of tournament and/or league schedules though out the Spring and possibly Fall season. We offer our youth a highly competitive level of baseball while experiencing the diversity of the various ball parks offered and by surrounding Associations.

Players ages cut off for the Texas ATTACK Baseball Club team/s is May 1, of the Spring season. Their age of play is their age on April 31st of that season. Should you choose to try out, the commitment should not be taken lightly. This is a considerable commitment of time, energy, and money for the AAA/ Major players/parents. AA+ Baseball will be a one season commitment. The Fall and Spring seasons will be addressed separately. The AA+ teams will play a rigorous game schedule in the Spring with a total of 50+ games.
AA+ level play is NOT an equal play program. It is a place for those who choose to play a higher level of baseball. For the most part, the best players will consume the majority of the repetitions. That being said, we use the league to develop the players and allow them a chance to earn the spots they want to play and develop those skills for later on.
1. What is AA+ Baseball and how does it differ from current recreational or select leagues?
Texas ATTACK Baseball Club and many neighboring communities recognize and utilize the USSSA Baseball, Incorporated Team Classification System as well as other classifications like Super Series, Pony Elite etc. USSSA is the most common, and the primary focus of USSSA Baseball is the development of program classification in this area, which allows teams of all skill levels to compete against one another. USSSA believes the overall development of all players can be enhanced by the experience and fun of national tournament play. USSSA Baseball offers programs for four levels of play.
Classification Guidelines- State Directors determine actual classification.
Major Division- The top competitive teams in the country.
AAA Division- Middle of the pack competitive teams.
AA Division- Teams that have restricted rosters, drafted players, or play at the rec level.
A Division- Recreational League drafted league teams only.
2. Why isn't their more information on AAA+ ball in the Alliance Area?
Because it's fairly new in our area and we have a fairly new community! As time allows, we will be adding more information and teams to get the word out. This FAQ section is an attempt to get more information out quickly.
Many hours, many meetings, many emails, and many phone calls, have taken place to get this program organized for play this spring. Being so new, there have been many questions regarding this program. I'm sure it will not be perfect. Be assured that we will make any necessary adjustments, as time allows, to ensure our program will to continue to improve the offering for the player and their families.
3. Do I register?
No for now, right now we are only forming the team and if your son makes the team we will determine that at a later date. If your player makes the team, there will be additional costs for uniforms, tournaments, equipment etc if your teams elects to play.
4. What additional costs will a player incur?
The Spring season will be about $850 total. This will include the practice facilities, full uniforms, games and at least 8 tournaments or so and/or league. Lessons are available for a very reasonable fee if you want. Other than player registration fees, teams have to pay for everything. The coaches have to manage the additional costs for tournaments etc (and any expenses). In summary, the parents of the players should expect some reasonable additional costs after normal player registration fees are paid. These costs will vary depending upon the schedule and cost of tournaments played etc.
5. How do I tryout for a team(s) and when will I know if my player made the AA+ team?
Try outs for the AA+ team will be posted on this site. Players will be notified within a few weeks or sooner.
6. When are games, practices etc?
League games are played on Saturday and/or weekdays 1-2 games per week usually. Practices are usually 2-3 days a week of lessons and cage work at a indoor facility. Tournaments are usually Saturday and Sunday, but could be during the week, but rarely.
7. Where are the players from?
Mostly from Ft Worth Area, and North Tarrant/ South Denton Counties in the North Ft Worth and Alliance Area, but the program is open to any players who wish to participate and make the team.
