Tournament Course: Riverdale Knolls
Starting Tee Time: 7:00 A.M., Approx. 8 Foursomes Per Hour
Handicap Index Specific Tees: Square =< 8.0,Circle > 8.0
Flight Sequence: 1,2,3,4
Tournament Description
Flighted, 2 Man Teams (Pick your Partner)
Teams will be flighted based on their combined USGA Handicap Index
Single signups are welcome. We will pair you up with another single (if possible).
Holes 1-6, Best Ball
Both players play each hole according to USGA stroke play rules.
Your NET Best Ball score is your team score for the given hole.
Holes 7-12, Modified Scramble
Both players hit their own ball twice, select one ball and 2 man scramble from that point to complete the hole.
Holes 13-18, Modified Scotch
Both players hit tee shots, then switch and each player hits the other player's ball for the second shot, select one ball and alternate shots until the hole is completed.
In Flight Net Skins (Optional)
Proxies on all par 3 holes
Handicap
Best Ball: 100% of Course Handicap
Modified Scramble: A-35% + B-15% Equals Team Handicap
Modified Scotch: 50% of Team Handicap
Maximum of 10 Strokes Difference in Handicap Index
Higher Handicap Index will be adjusted down to comply
Tournament Rules
USGA rules apply, except where local rules are in place
USGA(last 9,6,3,1 holes) method will be used to break ties
Riverdale Cup Points
Participation Points: 100 (per player)
Placement Points (per player, gross and net, including ties): 1st:50, 2nd:40, 3rd:30, 4th:20 5th:10
Speed of Play Policy
To self-evaluate the foursome's speed of play:
Proximity to the group ahead. (Playing within one shot of the group ahead at all times.)
Penalty will be severe!!

Tournament Fee: $20.00
Optional Net Skins: $5.00
Green Fees
Regular: $37.00
Knolls Annual or Knolls Punch Card: $12.00
Total Cost Per Player
Regular W/Skins: $61.00
Knolls Annual or Knolls Punch Card W/Skins: $37.00
Note: Cost per player does not include cart fees
Payments must be made to the Pro shop and play cards MUST be punched prior to playing or risk being charged the FULL green fees
