Saturday Fall Primetime & Sunday B.B.S.L & All Elite Report 

With the Tigers no longer here due to lack of players we will move forward and help hem for the summer 2025 season as we look towards higher grounds and expansion with a goal of reaching at least 16 teams and better. With that comes an increase in prize payout as we hope to pay the league champions who win a whopping $ 6000 dollars. We are working on 2 blueprints for next year in which we can keep the current format of playing only 9 am games or expanding our time frame just a bit to include 12 pm games as well. 3rd current plans involves having 2 different divisions where those who wih to stay at 9 am we will keep the current format and for those who want to play between 12:30pm - 3:00 pm will be a separate division. We can touch more on that in the coming months. I will be back with the games of the week as the post-season playoff has shifted and we in turn will shift with that so the playoff format to crown a wild card champion will not be in effect as of today and all teams will make the playoffs regardless of record since the Tigers no longer exist. I will update the Post season report and keep it up to date as the division champions who finish in 1st place will get a 1st round bye. 

Panthers (3-1) vs Smoke (5-1) is a tale of 2 different teams looking for different goals for this season. Panthers are looking for a 3 peat while Smoke is looking for it's 1st league championship . Both teams have good pitchng as the Panthers have a trio of Ghost and Ryan along with Edgar while Smoke's trio of Jose C and Efrain and Junior gives them a nice combo to match as well. Who pitches this weekend will be any one's guess. 

Runs scored : Panthers have scored 54 while Smoke has scored 50 : edge Panthers 

Runs given up : Panthers have given up 29 runs while Smoke has given up 39 runs : edge : Panthers 

Key players to watch : Smoke players Clayton who has 14 hits and needs 1 more to join the Warriors club while fellow player Lulu could join the Warriors club as well if he gains the necessary 4 hits to make it and not to be over-looked is Pops who needs 5 hits to gain entry as well. All eyes on pitcher Jose C who is currently 4-0 and needs 1 more win to gain entry into the Diamond club

Summary : Panthers have defeated Smoke throughout regular season meetings. Smoke will look to derail this myth as they have gotten better. Will the Panthers continue their dominance or will we see a changing of the guard on Saturdays ? 

Warriorz (4-0) vs Payback (3-1) is a classic teacher vs student match-up as it's being billed for this Saturday at Smoky park even though the Warriorz are in for a long day as they also have to face the Panthers as well. It will be a showdown of 2 legendary teams coming from St Johns park and somebody will have bragging rights after this weekend is done. 

Runs scored : Warriorz have scored 59 runs while Payback has scored 54 runs : edge : Warriorz 

Runs given up : Warriorz have been stingy this season giving up only 7 runs while Payback has given up 29 runs : edge : Warriorz

Key players to watch : Warriorz players Manny & Drew both have 11 hits apiece at this time with Mgr Donny hot on their trails with 9 of his own hits in the record books. Pitching is the key here as newcomer Wing (Blue Label) is continuing his pitching dominance as he is a perfect 2-0. 

Summary : In all cases nobody has anything to lose as this game will go down in history and we have the pleasure of being the 1st to do it. Experience against experience. Past versus the future. Can Payback Mgr Keba show the young lion how it's done or will Warriorz Mgr Donny continue to write his own story ? 

Hit Squad (3-3) vs The Alliance (2-4)

Polar Bears (2-2) vs Mariners (2-2) is going down this Sunday at Smoky park as this will be the 1st encounter for both teams. Both teams are currently locked in the 4th and 5th slot and both are looking to move up in the standings. What a way to kick off the opening match-ups at 9 am. 

Runs scored : Mariners have scored 39 runs while the Polar Bears have scored 23 runs : edge : Mariners 

Runs given up : Polar Bears have given up 25 runs while the Mariners have given up 28 runs making this quite the stingy game it can be if the pitching holds up for both teams. Polar Bears have Spider and Adam and the Mariners have Ghost & Ramon. 

Key players to watch : Mariners top 2 hitters are Chino & Pedro (DH) at this time as the Mariners are coming off a bye week vs the Arsenals. Polar Bears Andy (64 yrs old) leading the team with 5 hits with Adam , Hollywood and Mike in hot pursuit with 4 hits apiece.

Summary : The fall season is a short season so this encounter will set the stage for the summer 2025 season but for now if you had to pick either of them you can't go wrong. I smell a split coming but let's see whose belly needs to be filled !

 Locked In (2-4) vs Bad Intentions (1-3) goes down as another 1st time encounter and this has a lot of implications because the Bad Intentions team is hungry as well as Locked In because both teams wish to change their fortunes as of now. 

Runs scored :  Locked In has scored 40 runs whiloe Bad Intentions has scored 20 runs : edge : Locked In 

Runs given up : Bad Intentions has given up 37 runs while Locked In has given up 44 runs : edge : Bad Intentions 

Key players to watch : Locked In players Bobe leads the team with 9 hits along with fellow Locked In brothers Edgar with 8 and Alex with 7 hits. This gives Locked In a nice trios combo to deal with. Locked in pitcher Edgar leads with innings pitched (20) but don't count Bad Intentions out as they have a new core of intent warriors hell bent on making a difference. 

Summary : This is the battle of the underdogs. Bad Intentions is looking to keep Locked In at the bottom of the heap but Locked In is also looking to surpass Bad intentions and continue to climb towards the higher rankings. If Bad Intentions can keep that team they had in the 2nd game against Smoke the skies the limit. If the same team does not surface Locked In can lock up Bad Intentions for now. 

Black Out (2-0) vs Smoke (3-1) is a classic tale of 2 different managers but both equal from seasons past as both Managers go a long way back. Black out has arrived o the scene away from the realms of the football world just like the Panthers to show they can compete anywhere. Smoke has risen from the ashes and continues to improve week in and week out.

Runs scored : Smoke has scored 42 runs while Black out has scored 25 runs : edge Smoke

Runs given up : Black out has given up 10 runs while Smoke has given up 30 runs : edge : Black out

Key players to watch : Black out players Matt , Jorge and David lead the team in hits with 5 apiece. The pitching combo of Lue & Estrella have given them an undefeated start and they will be tested come this Sunday as Smoke top pitcher Chino is currently 3-0. Smoke top hitters are Jay with 10 and Terrence with 9 as they form quite the duo in the coveted 4-5 slots in the batting line-up but make no mistake this war is going down to the wire.  

Summary : you cannot deny what's about to go down this Sunday at Smoky park but rest assured all games happening has playoff implications in terms of who moves up and who goes down. I always said even though I usually refer to Smoke but if you want the smoke come get sum. If not to the victor gets the spoil and to those who fall in perish you just got smoked.

Battle Groundz sets the stage for what is to come with weekly predictions on all games happening between both Saturday and Sunday. Aftershock picks up with the aftermath as to what actually happened and the ramifications of things to come. We are using a visual of sorts to separate us from the rest of the other leagues in our own pursuit of becoming a more evolved players league which not only has stats but game informations which is purely for entertainment purposes.

As you can see we have added another area in which the teams can see where they are in the race to be in the main playoffs and the wild card championship series games. Saturday Primetime has 8 teams ready to go so the top 6 teams will make the main playoffs while the bottom 2 teams will battle for the wild card champioship for hoodies. Main playoffs champions will win $ 2500 + free pass into the summer 2025 season (savings of $ 1300) and softballs were included for the champions for the regular season only. So all the champions have to do is show up and pay umpire fees ! Now some people look at the wild card championship series as something else but know all things go hand in hand. The wild card champions win hoodies and they also get softballs provided for the regular season. So even though it's not equal footing but it will defintely make you play harder to be either or.

If you want something different then this is the place to be and we are not knocking any leagues and their programs as we wish to stress that we are being unique in our own ways. Our goal is to cap teams between 8 - 16 or max out at 12 teams if possible. 

We will update our league rules going forward so that we are all on the same page in the coming weeks. We also note that we are learning as we go along and we will adjust our rules accordingly based upon things seen and not see here in an effort to insure that we stay on top of all things not limited to jerseys and attendance and teams playing in another league. 

Projections : 2025 League Fees 

• Saturday Men's Lob Division $ 1300 to join / chip prize $ 6000 + free pass into the fall season
• Saturday Legends Lob Division $ 500 to join / chip prize $ 2000 (age groups 37 - 50 )
• Saturday Women's Lob Division $ 900 to join / chip prize $ 4500 + free pass into the fall season
• Sunday Men's Lob Division $ 1300 join / chip prize $ 6000 + free pass into the fall season 

All chip prizes are subject to change if the goal is not met or if the goal exceeds it's expectations where we then will adjust accordingly to the amount that is here. All prizes are based off a few things and we believe this to be a fair amount for all involved. We are also looking to add scorekeepers to the Women's division for the upcoming year in which the umpire fees will reflect that addition as well. We shall keep you updated as we go along .

All rules and regulations listed below are to be followed as this is a revised edition where rules have been observed and edited for the sole purpose of keeping the game in a fair equation where we benefit from the rules laid out.

Bats 

We do not allow senior bats and triple wall bats whatsoever. Any bat that does not have an official logo belonging to a softball governing association is not allowed either 

Mercy Rule

We carry 2 mercy rules which is as follows (1) 15 runs by the 3rd inning or (2) 10 runs by the 4th inning or thereafter

Forfeit Times

Teams that have less than 8 players to start the game is on the clock for the 1st 20 minutes from the actual start of the first game of the doubleheader. If game one is forfeited then the team that forfeits is responsible for the other teams fees meaning instead of paying $ 80 they will pay $ 120. If both games are forfeited then they are responsible for the entire fee which is $ 160

Umpire Fees (Regular season & Playoffs & Championship series )

During the regular season when 1 umpre is assigned to the game it's $ 80 per team. In the playoffs and championship series when 2umpires are assigned it becomes $ 160 per team for a doubleheader and if a 3rd game is needed then an additional $ 40 is paid by both teams 

Home Field Advantage

During the regular season the team that finishes in 1st place has home field advantage at any park they so desire until they have been eliminated. No time frame is awarded as all games are pretty much the same during the regular season

Registration & Fees Rules 

Each season the prices vary from summer to fall. All teams wishing to join the league must post a fee in order to be placed on the schedule for the upcoming season. We unfortunately cannot go by words alone any more as we got burned in the past and therefore we must keep everything on the up and up

Rosters 

No team is allowed to carry more than 18 players during the entire season which includes playoffs and possible championship series

Jersey Rules 

All players must have the same exact shirt prior to the playoffs beginning. If you do not have the same shirt when the playoff / championship series begins you cannot play until you return with your rightful shirt and you cannot borrow nor can a manager give you a shirt that you have not worn during the regular season

Counts 

The league has decided in order to  truly make a difference and we have to lead by our own standards we will beginning in the fall season revert back to an 0-0 count instead of a 1-1 count. 

League Scheduling 

All teams are placed in a division of the day of your choosing. Schedules are already placed on the website with the fields and teams we anticipate for the upcoming season which of course is subject to change. This also applies to the time frames of each game per season. We will avoid doing partial schedules as well week to week as best as we can but rest assured you will know where your going as well as who you are playing for the season.

Teams Playing In Another League 

All leagues are to be respected and sometimes we have to make a decision which involves fairness and justice for all. Oue league is just as important as any other league out here. When it comes to scheduling games not limited to playoffs and championship and wild card playoffs and championship series You are responsible to insure that whatever game is set up here does not involve another leagues situation. Should you be forced to play somewhere else knowing you play here as well and you cannot make the series here you will be eliminated and the opposing team will advance to the next round just as well as a regular season game where you cannot make it you will be given a forfeit
