- SLUH ARE THE 2025 BULLDOG BATTLE CHAMPIONS!
- Harper Ackerman (-2) wins Individual Title in a playoff!
2025 Bulldog Battle presented by Welsch Heating and Cooling
This year’s tournament was competitive as ever, especially with the addition of two more very good teams in Jackson H.S. (near Cape Girardeau) and Helias Catholic H.S. (Jeff City). The team title was again captured by SLUH this year with a score of 305. The wind was up that afternoon driving scores a bit higher than usual. Chaminade and CBC both shot 309 for 2nd and 3rd respectively. It was also a very close contest for the individuals. There were four players under par this year but it was Harper Ackerman (CBC) that won an extra hole playoff over Ben Hollman (DeSmet). Both players were -2 in regulation. Cole Hendrix (CBC) and Cole Packingham (Liberty) both shot -1. The tournament really showcased some great local players. Overall, there were 33 players that broke 80 which was impressive and players had to shoot 74 or better to be in the top 10 and earn a medal. The level of play in the Bulldog Battle just continues to get better! The entire 2025 team and individual results can be found by clicking on the "PAGES" tab above.
The Bulldog Battle at WingHaven was created in order for high school players to experience a highly competitive tournament in an atmosphere similar to the Missouri State Championship Tournament. This includes using starters on the first tee, pin sheets, a notice to competitors, and St. Louis District Rules Officials on the course.
