CYC General Information

  • Open to students entering grades K-6 in September 2025
  • Competitive teams will cheer for 3-4 Frank Baker Football games & compete in three local competitions
  • Sideline (non-competitive) team will cheer for all Frank Baker Football games NEW for 2025!!!
  • All teams (competitive AND sideline) are part of the Homecoming Parade
  • Registration fee - $200 for competitive teams; $100 for sideline team (non-competitive); sibling discount fee - $75 for every additional child (competitive & sideline) NEW for 2025!!!
  • Equipment to be purchased includes red briefs and white cheerleading sneakers
  • Registration closes May 30, 2025

Registration Fee

  • $200 for competitive teams (A/B/C/Flag); $100 sideline team
  • Sibling discount fee - $75 for every additional child (competitive & sideline)
  • Registration is online only
  • Competitive registration fee includes the cost of competition fees, routine music, uniform rental, end-of-season team parties, bow, and program t-shirt (athletes keep bow and program shirt)

  • Non-refundable after August 8, 2025

 

Financial Assistance

The Canandaigua Youth Cheerleading program provides financial assistance for those in need. To inquire about our financial assistance program, please reach out to cayouthcheer@gmail.com. All financial assistance is provided by the Canandaigua Cheerleading booster club.

SILVER STAR YOUTH CHEERLEADING CAMP

   

REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 21!

Join us this July for our annual Silver Star Youth Cheerleading Camp! Campers will join the Canandaigua Varsity Cheerleading team to learn how to stunt, tumble, and jump at this fun-filled camp offered at the Canandaigua Primary School. Camp will take place July 15 & 16, 6-8 PM, with a special show-off for family and friends at 7:45 PM on July 16. Cost is $45 per athlete; $75 for families.

Registrations closes on June 27.


SIDELINE TEAM

     

The Canandaigua Youth Cheerleading program is excited to announce our NEW sideline team for the 2025 season! This non-competitive team is low-cost, low-committment and focuses on the fundamentals of cheerleading without the pressure of competing. Sideline cheer is perfect for athletes who are playing other sports as well! Athletes will cheer for all Frank Baker Football games and participate in the Homecoming Parade.

  • Practices will take place on Fridays, 6:00-7:15 PM, Primary School gym.
  • Open to students entering grades K/1/2/3 in September 2025.
  • Registration fee: $100, $75 for each additional sibling.

UCA CAMP

   

REGISTRATION FOR UCA CAMP OPENS MAY 5!

NEW FOR 2025! The Canandaigua Youth Cheerleading program will be hosting UCA Camp for A & B Team athletes (grades 4-6)! UCA Camp will take place August 2 & 3, 9 AM - 4 PM, Primary School Gym. $115 per athlete; cost covers camp tuition & one camp outfit.

Attended by high school teams across the country (including our own Mod/JV/Varsity), UCA Camp is a two day cheer camp that focuses on the FUNdamentals! Athletes will learn proper stunting technique, new cheers and dances, and focus on teambuilding in this camp led UCA's higly trained professional staff. With a strong emphasis on safety and progressions, athletes will take their skills to new heights in the only UCA Camp for youth cheerleaders in the Rochester region.
