Good day All, currently my organization is "NOT" running any leagues at this time.

We have, however, turned our program and style over to the City Of Orlando Parks and Recreation division under the direction of director Pablo Moran

 We are now going to start weekday leagues (Tuesday at a later date and or Friday nights in October) and maybe Saturday's nights starting next spring

in 2023

If there are any changes in the future I will let all know

Rule changes 2018/19 

1. Drag bunting will be allowed in the league one bunt per team per inning.

2. No more "open shoulder" pitching allowed in the league, all pitchers must throw in a bowling motion stance traditional stance/but note.. a pitcher can go as far as 3/4 to release a pitch to the plate.

3. All teams are encouraged to wear batting helmets, this rule although NOT mandatory it should be taken in consideration!

4. NO head first sliding to home plate is allowed ever, this will result in automatic out!

5. Due to the pinch runner rule...a catcher cannot ask for a pinch runner to enter the game and catch one inning and then only for the original starting catcher to re-enter the game as normal, if you are a catcher, and someone enters and runs for you, you can no longer enter as catcher for the rest of the game. No re-entry for catchers at that point.

6. Only the last out can run for a catcher, regardless of small injuries to a player, We will allow only a player that you have as a substitute, someone not playing to run one time during during a 9 inning game as an emergency runner/or courtesy runner, afterwards the rule must be followed according to the original rule written. if you have an injured player please remove him from the game.

7. All catchers must wear completely without question there full catchers gear, this rule is mandatory! per our insurance policy.

8. All pitchers must wear mask!! this rule will always be mandatory!!

9. Any player that is thrown out the game by an umpire, will be suspended for the next two games, NO EXCEPTIONS!

10. NO ALCOHOL, will be allowed in the field of play, dugouts, or in park stands, coolers are NO LONGER ALLOWED IN DUGOUTS soft drinks, water, and or sports drinks will be allowed but must be in a transparent zip lock bag or a clear transparent bag, any coolers AS IN team igloo cooler must be in powder form for all your players any other coolers must stay in your personal vehicles, and players will not be allowed to return for cars for drinks.

11. Managers, umpires, during game day all must be at the park 20 min before the game, and must issue your line up to the score keeper 10 minutes prior to the start of the game, if your game is at 10 am or 4 pm games will start on time, the 15 min courtesy time is only if you have less then 8 players 

12. If an umpire comes late to any game they will be deducted $10 from there game day pay, and if they are late or absent 3 times during the season there will be immediate steps for removal of the league.

13. All players must have matching shirts in order to play a game or a shirt with its team color.

14. All rain outs will be called on the the field either by the parks administrators, and League President for reasons like overnight severe thunderstorms, tornado activity, or hurricane on the horizon.

15. All catchers must get a pinch runner and removed from the base if he or gets a hit, NO EXCEPTIONS.

16. Trophy and awards will be distributed to the following

      A) 3rd & 4th places - Medals to each player. B) Second place Team                   Trophy and trophy for each player, C) 1st place team Trophy,                         with trophy for each indivigual player this season only.

Any rules violation will be given one warning at league umpire discretion and judgement, any warnings will only be issued to the two new teams and  players that have entered new in our league per agreement by our managers as a courtesy. the scorekeeper will record these warnings as record, and no other warnings throughout the season will be given.
