Fall Workout Practice/Play Program information
Fall Workouts/Practice-Play Program:
•This program is open to all Spring 2024 Varsity, JV and JV2 players who are in Grades 10-12 this Fall.
•Players who are also on a School Fall Sport (i.e.- Football, Volleyball, Cross-Country, etc.) may not participate in this program.
•Workouts will start Wednesday September 4, 2024 and end Sunday October 26, 2024, weather permitting. Workouts will be held Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
•This program is not mandatory and is not a tryout for Spring 2025. It is not required that the player attend every practice or the entire practice (for example, if Sunday practice is 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the player may attend from12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
•The purpose of the program is to work on skills such as base running, stealing, bunting, hitting approach, pitching, fielding and pickoffs.
•If there is interest from the players, there is a possibility of a Columbus Day Weekend Tournament.
•The cost to participate will be the cost of a t-shirt, umpire fees and possible tournament fee divided among the players. The coaches are not being paid for this program and this program is being done through the Massapequa Chiefs Booster Club.
