REGISTRATION DATES ADDED AND MORE INFO ON THE FORMS PAGE UNDER REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!

We are pleased to inform all our Football Parents that the Clark Crusaders have made the tough decision to leave Pop Warner and move to the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League (NJ-SYFL) for the upcoming 2017 season. We want you to know that this was not an easy decision after being with Pop Warner for so many years but feel that it is a better and safer way to go for our children at this time. Also SYFL seems to have the matrix that children of all ages and weights can play. All teams are grade appropriate and tackle starts at the 3^rd grade level.

 Some safeguards for SYFL are that there are no kick offs and all teams start on the 35 yard line to start the game reducing injuries overall greatly. SYFL also has a different weight/age matrix that allows our bigger kids to stay within their age group and play football. In addition at the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade level Coaches are on the field with the players instructing them and making sure everyone is playing in a safe environment. For those children in K through 2nd grade, we will continue a non-travel flag program that will include intra-squad games and practice. When possible we will try to schedule a flag game with another team outside of our program.

NJSYFL affords us the opportunity to provide not only a safer football environment but also allows our parents a longer summer, practice does not start until August 15, and less travel as a majority of our opponents are located in or around Union County and some of those teams are teams our children will go up against if they choose to continue to play football at the High School level.

We are very excited about this new alliance and will be having registration on February 21st, & 23rd March 21^st & March 23^rd also on May 16^th & May 18^th. All nights of registration will be from 6:30 to 8:30PM @ 9 Reifel Street which is the practice field clubhouse behind Friendlies on Raritan Road.

The Clark Crusaders Football and Cheer programs are not only about Football and Cheerleading. It is also about Scholastics, Respect, and Self Pride.

We use our program as a positive building block for our children; not only to make them the best football players and cheerleaders we can but also so they understand the meaning of Leadership, Teamwork, and Discipline.

The results are a respective young adult ready to move on to the High School with a strong Work Ethic and a Positive Attitude. They accomplish this in a safe and structured environment.
