Just a quick recap of some of the important items discussed at the meeting.
Tryouts will begin on March 1st. Make sure your grades are good or you will not be able to tryout.
Make sure all of your paperwork is in order and turned in as one complete package before March 1st. You cannot tryout until the package is turned in. The Blue Sports Packet can be picked up in the main office.
Along with the packet, please include a copy of a BGE bill for address verification. Black out any billing info such as credit card, etc..
If at all possible please try to have all of the paperwork turned in to Coach Amaral in room 234 a few days before March 1st. The new Athletic Trainer at school has requested this so he can review the physicals.
If you have a played a sport in this school year, please email me so I can have the Trainer obtain a copy of your physical from the school nurse.
If you have not had a physical this school year, you must have one before you can tryout.
Always be prepared for indoor or outdoor practice.
Baseball attire is a must. Baseball pants, belt and hat.
Have tennis shoes with you daily in case we are inside.
Make sure you are engaged is some sort of fitness training.
Whether it be in a gym or at home. It's important to be in good condition when tryouts start.
When the weather is not conducive to being outside, we practice in the gym.
The gym times that are usually given to us are in the evening. If we are not able to make a decision the day or night before, announcements are made during the day in school. We try to do this before noon.

Good Morning,
We have reached the goal of having a minimum of ten players for the hitting sessions at Baseball Warehouse.
The dates are Sunday's February 11th and 18th from Noon till 1PM.
The cost is fifteen dollars per player. Please make checks payable to Baseball Warehouse in the amount of fifteen dollars or place fifteen dollars cash in an envelope with the players name on it and give it to Coach Amaral in room 234 by Tuesday.
Sorry for the quick turnaround but they require payment in advance to book.
