With Dino Guys leading 2-0 after 2 on goals from Tony Mikelonis (1G, 1A) and Eric Johnson (1G, 1A), Hayes Services would mount a third period comeback with goals 51 seconds apart from a subbing Greg Felber (1G, 1A) and Chris Discordia (1G). The comeback would be shortlived, as Newcomb would tally the game winner 56 seconds later, and would tack on the empty netter to seal it with 18 seconds remaining. Other Week 6 highlights include a hat trick from Scott Crawford as Navy Silent Snipers downed Carl's Cronies, A 4 goal outing from Junkyard Dogs' Joe Pereira in a 10-8 win over The Replacements, Chris Discordia with a goal and 5 assists as Hayes Services handed a loss to The Replacements, and a 9 point outpouring from Mike Forbotnick as AEN Asphalt steamrolled The Misfits.

October 11, 2020 - Joe Haskins contributed 2 goals and 2 assists, including the game winner as Carl's Cronies handed Junkyard Dogs their first loss of the Fall 2020 Sunday Ball League season with a 7-6 victory. Tied after the first period, Junkyard Dogs scored three in a nearly two minute span midway through the second. A goal from Cronies' Josh Chouinard (1G) with 1:08 left in the second would set the tone for the third as the Cronies dominated the period offensively with 19 of their 41 total shots coming in the final frame. Unassisted goals from Pat O'Connor (1G) and Haskins would tie the game with 11:38 remaining. Josh Baronofsky (1G, 1A) would put the Cronies up with 7:05 left, but Junkyard Dogs answered with a goal from Sam Nassetta (2G) with 4:34 remaining. Carl's Cronies would take the lead for good with 3:46 remaining as Haskins tallied his second on a feed from Baronofsky. October 4, 2020 - Team Captain Chris Giacomazzo led the way, tallying 2 goals as Junkyard Dogs moved to 3-0-0 on the season with a 5-4 win over Hayes Services. Trailing 3-1 going into the third, Hayes Services would mount a comeback with goals from Brian Discordia (2G) and Dean Patty (1G, 1A), tying the game with 8:33 remaining. End to end action was nullified by outstanding goaltending from Hayes Services' Anthony Zerkow and Junkyard Dogs substitute goaltender Craig Stedman. This would last until Matt Rei broke through, giving Junkyard Dogs the lead for good with 3:20 remaining.
