TECUMSEH SENIOR CAPTURES THE 2024 PLAYOFF TITLE!

Tecumseh Seniors won its third playoff title in a row, going undefeated with 5 wins. it took extra inning

in the championship game with Essex Seniors to claim the title.

ESSEX SENIORS 2024 SEASON CHAMPS

Essex Seniors won the Essex County Senior League Season title.  After being tied with Leamington for the regular season, it came down to a

extra game to determine this years season champs.  Essex took the title with a 10 to 0 win over Leamngton Seniors.

TECUMSEH SENIOR CAPTURES THE 2023 PLAYOFF TITLE!

Tecumseh is 2023 playoff champions winnng all 4 game.  Winning first game against Harrow  10 to 1  in game 2  they beat Essex Yellow Jackets  10 to 4

Game 3  They faced Woodslee Juniors and won this game in extra innings 14 to 1 and in the finals they beat Essex Yellow Jackets 9 to 0


TECUMSEH SENIOR CAPTURES THE 2022 PLAYOFF TITLE!

 

The Essex County Baseball League has been in existence for over 78 years, including teams from Amherstburg, Belle River Chatham, Essex, Harrow, Kingsville, Lasalle,                                              Leamington, Maidstone, River Canard, Tecumseh Wheatley, Windsor, and Woodslee.  Over the year our teams have won many Ontario Baseball Championships.

 

 2022 Season Champs are Tecumseh and Woodslee with a 16 win - 4 loss record.

 

This year we like to congradulate Tecumseh Seniors for winning the 2022 playoffs.

 

There were 11 teams participating this year with 21 games being played over one week. Starting on Wednesday Aug. 17 with Woodslee Seniors defeating River Canard  11 to 1 Essex Diamondbacks defeated Harrow 9 to 6 – Tecumseh defeated Walker Homesite Seniors 15 to 0 – Leamington won their game over Essex Juniors 15 to 2 - and Essex Seniors defeating Woodslee Juniors 12 to 2 – On Thursday Woodslee Seniors defeated Walker Homesite Juniors 18 to 9 Friday started when Harrow eliminated Walker Seniors 9 to 1  Woodslee Juniors eliminated Essex Juniors with a 9 to 6 victory Tecumseh won over Essex Diamondbacks 12 to 7 – and Essex Seniors defeated Leamington 6 to 2 - Saturday was a busy day with 7 games being played with Harrow eliminatng River Canard 6 to 4 - Walker Homesite Juniors eliminating Woodslee Juniors 7 to 5 - Leamington eliminating Essex Diamondbacks 15 to 0 -  Tecumseh won over Essex Seniors 7 to 6 - Harrow eliminating their third team Walker Homesite Juniors 17 to 2 – Leamington eliminated Essex Seniors by the score 9 to 6 and the night game with the 2 undefeated teams Tecumseh and Woodslee Seniors,  Tecumseh won this game 10 to 2.  Sunday games were washed out because of rain, so with 4 teams remaining the playoffs started again on Tuesday with Woodslee Seniors eliminating Harrow 7 to 5 - Leamington won their game over Tecumseh 3 to 0 Wednesday we had three teams left, Tecumseh winning the bye and Leamington facing Woodslee Seniors to see who will play Tecumseh for the Championship. Woodslee Seniors with strong hitting eliminated Leamington 12 to 7 to reached the finals.  In the championship game Tecumseh had strong pitching and hitting to take home the Championship.
