Registration Dates: July 22 - August 7 at 5pm
Register online: www.forsythco.com/parks or in person at the recreation centers
Ages: 4 - 17. Child must be 4 years old prior to September 1, 2024 to participate. All other ages use the following age control dates. Baseball: Players age on April 30, 2025. Softball: Players age on Dec. 31, 2024.
Registration fee: $125.00/child for county residents and $150/child for non-county residents
Wait List Registration: August 8-9
Evaluations (if needed): week of August 19 or later
Practices begin: week of Sept. 2 and may be held Monday – Saturdays
Games begin: week of September 16 and are held Monday – Thursday. Fridays may be used for makeups if needed. (No Saturday or Sunday games)
No games during Fall Break, Sept. 23-27
Season ends: October 24 (weather permitting)
Game Times: Start times range from 6pm to 8pm. (5&6 year olds will have some games at 7pm)
League Information – NEW FOR 2024: FCPRD will take registration by parks instead of areas as in the past. You may register for Central, Coal Mountain, Lanierland, Midway, Sawnee Mountain or Sharon Springs Park (Bennett Park is closed for renovations). If insufficient registration to complete full teams, parks in close proximity may have their registration combined. Teams will practice out of the park registered for as much as possible, though practicing at another park nearby may happen. Children will be placed in the appropriate age divisions. Children may only play up one age group with permission from the Athletic Staff. Child must be in last year of a multi-year age group to be considered to play up. Each team will be scheduled to play 8 games. Teams will likely play two games per week. Teams may play games at any park in the county.

Coaches' Online Background Checks
All coaches that work with a youth sports team (head and assistants) must complete an online background check prior to getting field space from FCPRD. There is no charge to the coaches for this.
GAME RESULTS AND STANDINGS
Game results are reported after the completion of each game. The home team will be responsible for filling out the online game report, located at parks.forsythco.com & the link below, within 24 hours of the the conclusion of each game. Generally, if the scores are reported correctly, they are available to each park athletic coordinator the next day. Each day the athletic coordinators will update this site with the game results. Friday and Saturday game reports will be processed on the following Monday. We appreciate your patience in allowing the athletic coordinators ample time to collect the game reports and update this site.
INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATES
There are two ways to check if games or practices are on as scheduled when the weather is threatening.
1. The FCPRD Weather Line: Call 770-886-2851 and choose option 1 for information about Youth athletics.
2. www.statusme.com: The StatusMe network sends texts and email messages when FCPRD has updated the status of the fields due to weather. It is free to join StatusMe using these simple procedures.
1. Go to www.statusme.com
2. Click the "Join Now" button to register as a new user.
3. Enter the required information and click the "register" button.
4. Follow the instructions in Step 1 to enter your text and email information.
5. Follow the instructions in Step 2 to join a "Club". You should select "Forsyth County
Park and Rec from the Club List, then select Forsyth County Baseball-Softball. Then click
the "Back to Status Report".
6. On the next page click "Join" and you're done.
