Germantown H.E.A.T (Hard-work, Education, Attitude, and Teamwork)

 Germantown H.E.A.T!

Our name embodies the character traits we believe hold the keys to being successful both on and off the basketball court

Our Coaches and Staff are ready  to move forward into another exciting Basketball season with renewed energy and enthusiasm for the team and its success this year.  Our goals for each team are for them to become the very best they can be - both collectively and individually.

H.E.A.T.  COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Our coaching staff adheres to a positive, constructive instruction style. Our philosophy is to encourage not discourage; motivate not intimidate. Our staff has a variety of backgrounds, experiences and approaches to basketball; we do not espouse a single strategic approach to the game.

Promoting a single approach throughout the club could have some competitive advantages, but we believe the diversity of our coaching broadens the development of our players.

H.E.A.T.  COMPETITION PHILOSOPHY

Our stance on competition is simple...put our teams in a place to be challenged and to work. Winning or losing is simply a byproduct of the team's ability/inability to execute the skills they have been taught.

Every team has a goal. Whether it is winning their first game or tournament, executing a new offense, running or breaking a press or even winning a state or national championship, our job is to help these kids reach those goals via competition.
