- You cannot have a non-registered player play for your team. It results in a 5-0 forfeit. We see it every year. If you aren't going to be able to ice a team you need to contact the other team's captain and/ Executive well before the game to get permission from all parties. We're not saying "you can't" we're saying "let everyone know first".

 

- The "Scott Sedore Rule" applies wherein you cannot play for two different teams in our league at one time unless approved by the opposing team's captain. The result will be a one game suspension for the player and a loss for the offending team. 

 

- The GMHL has subscibed to LiveBarn which CAN be used to review Double Minor, Major and Match Penalties or instances of player injury. LiveBarn will not be used to reverse standard calls on the ice and will not be used for time clock or goal complaints. The league has taken an increased stance towards stick infractions, body contact, player injury and abuse of officials. If you were injured in a "non-hockey" play, please let your captain know as the league has ZERO tollerance for reckless behaviour.
