WELCOME BACK SOFTBALL CAMP - ReScheduled Due to Rain

Monday - Feb 20th from 2:00-6:00 PM (President's Day)

All campers will receive a T-Shirt and a snack mid-camp

Camp is for 5th – 8th Grade Athletes

$40 per camper

Highland Hawks Varsity Softball finsihes the season ranked at #17. Varsity will play #16 Desert Ridge on Wednesday, April 27, 4:00 PM, at Desert Ridge HS.

State Tournament (all rounds prior to state championship):
$10.00 Adults
$5.00 Students with High School ID
Children five and under admitted free

Our 2022 Senior Night has been scheduled on our last home game of the regular season, Monday, April 25.  Festivities will begin promptly at 5:45 pm and the game starting at 6 pm. 

Families of our Seniors need to be at the field by 5:20 pm to organize.  

Make sure you are checking the official AIA game website for the most up to date days, times and locations.  Due to an umpire shortage, many games have been moved and could still be moved.

Tryouts begin on Monday, Feb 7 and run through Thursday, Feb 10.  Tryouts begin promptly at 3:00 PM daily and players will be released approximately 5:45 PM each day.

Players will be informed at the conclusion of tryouts on Thursday evening as to which team they have been selected for.

**All players at tryouts must be cleared through RegisterMyAthlete.com  The player's registration must show Ready for Tryouts or Completed.  Participation fee is not due until after tryouts.

We will be holding our annual beginning of the year softball program meeting virtually this year.  Zoom meeting details and invite will be sent out through our email distribution list.

Q&A: Please email Coach Schmidt any questions you would like answered during the Zoom Meeting so we can consolidate the information as much as possible and make the meeting as informative and short as possible.    

2021 Highland Softball practices resume on Wednesday, January 13, from 3:00 - 5:30 PM on the Varsity Field.

The softball program's focus in fundraising this year is to improve the softball practice facility by bring in clean, rock-free dirt around the complex and adding turf to both batting cages.  Currently the majority of both complexes are surrounded by rock filled dirt which makes practice difficult and the rock destroys softballs and equipment which then needs to be replaced.  Help us reach our overall fundraising goal so we can make Highland the premier softball complex in the valley!
