HMHC U21 HOCKEY REGISTRATION

Registration is now OPEN for the 2023-24 U21 House League season.

The cost to play U21 House League for the 2023-24 season will be $525.00 per player, with each team playing between 1 ½ and 2 games a week based on the number of teams in the league.

 There will be a pre-season evaluation skate in October, and teams will be drafted by the coaches following the evaluations. 

In addition, for 2023-24, we are working on the development of an Interlock loop with teams from other Alliance Centres.  This may involve travelling to St. Catharines, Brantford and Cambridge, based on the availability and interest of teams.

A Payment plan is available when you register: 

Register in March or April and a 50% deposit is required, with 2 equal payments of 25% of the remaining balance taken out on the 15th of May & June.

 After July 1, 2023, payment in full by credit card will be the only option to register.

 In some circumstances, payment by cheque will be accepted, but there is a $25 NSF charge for any returned payments, and then all future payments will have to be in cash.

In conjunction with the announcement made today by Premier Ford and the Ontario Government concerning public health measures and further COVID restrictions, all hockey under the umbrella of ALLIANCE Hockey will pause in its entirety beginning January 5, 2022 at 12:01am at least until 12:01am on January 27, 2022.

It is imperative that everyone continue to follow all public measures and get vaccinated with your first, second or booster dose if you have not done so already as we plan to return to hockey once permitted.

ALLIANCE Hockey will continue to maintain focus to ensure that once possible, we will be ready to return to play.

The HMHC will continue to update all our players and parents as more information becomes available.

Alliance Hockey (the governing body for hockey in Hamilton) has issued a statement regarding vaccinations for COVID-19. The priority of Alliance Hockey is the health and safety of our hockey community which includes all players, coaches, officials, volunteers, staff, families, and fans.

In keeping with the most recent announcements and recommendations for amateur sports leagues, Alliance Hockey will require proof of COVID-19 immunization for all vaccine eligible participants (12 years of age and above unless exempted) including players, coaches, officials, staff and volunteers. Eligible participants will require proof of having received their first dose by September 17, 2021 and must be fully vaccinated by October 31, 2021.

There are a number of minor hockey associations offering houseleague hockey programs in Hamilton.  Each association offers different programs, schedules, locations, etc.  Click on the link below to view a comprehensive list.  Any questions you have about the operation of a specific association should be directed to that association. You will find contact information on each of their websites.

You are welcome to register at the association that best meets your needs as long as they offer the age group you require.

If your player is ready for more competitive hockey you may wish to consider trying out for representative hockey with the Hamilton Huskies.
