Tryout Sessions:

• Session I: Saturday, March 1st
• Session II: Sunday, March 2nd - Postponed to Sunday, March 9th (Weather)
  
  • Major League: 11:00 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Minor League: 1:30 - 3:30/4:00 p.m.

Preseason Training (Major League/Returning Players - ONLY): February & March 

Draft/Team Formation: Major League: March 12th / Minor League: March 16th

Opening Day HLL Parade & Ceremony: Saturday, April 5th

• Games will NOT be held during spring break, Good Friday, or Easter: April 14th - 20th
• Games will NOT be held on May 23rd - May 26th in observance of Memorial Weekend; schedules will resume on Tuesday, May 27th

Major League:

• Opening Games: March 31st - weather permitting
• Game Schedule: March 31st to Mid-late June - TBD
  • Monday to Friday at 5:30 PM & 7:30 PM w/occasional weekends as needed
• Practice Schedule:
  • Practices take place the DAY BEFORE EACH GAME and on GAME DAY in the indoor/outdoor cages
  • There are typically 2x/practices associated with EVERY game
• Make-Up Games/"Rainouts": Sunday Evenings
• Major League Playoffs/Champ: TBD (Mid-End of June)

MINOR LEAGUE:

• Game Schedule: April to June - TBD
  • One game/week on weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 5:00 PM (@ Northwest Field) and Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM (@ HLL Field)
• Anticipated Start Date/Games: Monday, April 7th
• Preseason Training Start Date: Week of March 24th
• Practice Schedule (season): Typically 2x - 3x/week on weekdays from 3:30 - 4:30 PM @ Northwest Resiliency and HLL Field
• Make-Up Games: TBD
• Minor League Playoffs/Championship: Mid - End of June (TBD)
  

MINOR JUNIORS:

• Anticipated Start Date/Practice: Sunday, April 6th
  • Weekly practices for approx. one hour between the hours of 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Uniforms will be distributed before opening day ceremony/parade; specific plans will follow (TBD)
• Anticipated Start Date/Games: Sunday, April 13th (TBD)

• Weekly Game Schedule: Sundays from April - June
  • Games typically rotate every week between approx. 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekly Practice Schedule: Saturdays from April - June
  • Practices typically rotate every week between approx. 8:30 - 4:00 PM

COACH PITCH:

• Anticipated Start Date/Practice: Sunday, April 6th
  • Approx. one hour/team between hours of 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Uniforms will be distributed before opening day ceremony/parade; specific plans will follow (TBD)
• Anticipated Start Date/Games: Saturday, April 12th

• Weekly Game Schedule: Saturdays from April - June
  • Games typically rotate weekly between the hours of 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekly Practice Schedule: Sundays from April - June
  • Practices typically rotate every week between the hours of 8:30/9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

JUNIOR LEAGUE (13-14's): More information will be available in late March and after registration concludes

• Team Placement & Roster Announcement - Late March (TBD) 
• Game Schedule: Mondays & Fridays (7:30 PM) and Sunday afternoons (NOON) - TBD
• Season: Mid April - June (TBD)
• Practices: Weeknights at the INDOOR CAGE from 8:00/8:30 PM - 9:00/9:30 PM at the coach's discretion 

SENIOR LEAGUE (15-16's):

• If registration enrollment permits, the team will participate in a travel league against other local towns OR will play local games in some capacity (TBD) - information, start date, and schedule will be announced in late March 
• Travel games are typically played on weeknights and/or weekends at local venues within/outside of Hoboken; local games will be played on Sundays to accomodate high school schedules - TBD
• The schedule will be announced in late March (TBD)

Schedules for CP, Minor Jrs, Minor League, & Major League have been posted to TeamSnap; these divisions have  announced roster placement and this process will continue rolling out over the next couple of weeks for participants entering from the waiting list.

We are NOT accepting participants into the MAJOR or MINOR League divisions at this time (3/11/25)

• If you registered BEFORE the deadline, no further action is required at this time; rosters and schedules have been published and the team formation process has been finalized
•  
  • Please DO NOT ask the league to check on the individual status of your registration data - the league reviews every registration entry to ensure completion

• • If anything is missing from your registration, the league will attempt to reach out to finalize outstanding material; however, the league cannot always reach everyone, and therefore, participants are responsible for completing the registration requirements on time

• • The league will notify participants of their team placements in mid to late March (if not sooner); this takes place AFTER the team formation/draft process has been finalized

• • TeamSnap will be activated AFTER the team formation and/or draft process has concluded (mid-late March); the majority of the divisions have finalized this process and information is available to participants on the TeamSnap "app"

• • Team rosters and schedules will be available on the TeamSnap "app" AND will be published to the HLL website upon completion (mid-late March)

• • The league is continuously assessing the registration data to determine availability within the younger programs (TBD)

• • While the league works incredibly hard to move participants from the "waiting list" into their respective programs whenever possible, it is not always guaranteed; the league will contact participants directly if/when removed from the waiting list

• • Keep in mind that there are a set number of teams allotted per division AND limitations on the roster sizes per team - the outcome will be dependent upon the registration numbers within each division; some divisions may have openings, while others may have already reached maximum capacity (TBD)
