With three softball fields and four baseball fields,JP Hudson Memorial Park,

has one of the best Baseball & Softball complexes in North MS. Our park

features: four batting cages,concession stand,and two pavilions.The park

offers the opportunity for kids in Batesville,MS and surrounding towns the

chance to play recreational baseball & softball.We're always looking for

JP Hudson Memorial Park league play is sanctioned thru Dizzy Dean Baseball INC.Where its not for the coaches,parents,or spectators,Dizzy Dean is for the youth that play and enjoy the game. Our league teams typically play a 16 Game schedule!The park also holds a In-League Tournament each season as well.With that many games being played each season,baseball & softball players are assured of seeing plenty of action on the field!!

We offer Five Age Divisions in our Dizzy Dean Baseball Assocation.
                                      5 yr old: Tee Ball
                                      6 yr old: Coach Pitch
                                     7/8 yr old: Coach Pitch
                                     9/10 yr old : Minor League
                                    11/12 yr old: Freshman League
 
Dizzy Dean Softball        

Our fastpitch softball program has become one of the South's Best .We have won several Dizzy Dean State Championships and Dizzy Dean World Series the last several years in all of our all-star age divisions!!! We offer girls ages 5-16 the opportunity to learn the skills to play fastpitch softball. We begin with our 6u & 8u coach pitch division's.In coach pitch divisions,youth players will learn the basic fundementals aspects of the game.The 10u division players begin to play fastpitch softball and will continue to play fastpitch in each older age division:12u,14u, and 16u.

                 

JP Hudson Memorial Park, will hold several Dizzy Dean North State Baseball & Fastpitch Softball tournaments during the summer of 2025.The park will also host a Dizzy Dean baseball & softball all-star tournament.
