Welcome to The Lions Den

The Lawncrest Youth Athletic Association is a non-profit organization providing a positive influence on the boys and girls in the Lawncrest community to help them escape the negative environment surrounding them in their community. The Lawncrest Lions was established in 2009. Our organization started with Football and Cheerleading. We have grown and still offer Football and Cheerleading and added Baseball, Basketball, and Track. Our sports programs are for both boys and girls which goes from the ages of 5 to 16.  

Since the start of our program, we have gone on to bigger and better things.

Established in 2009, The Lawncrest Lions is a non-profit, volunteer-run youth sports organization serving the families of Lawncrest and neighboring communities by providing a high-quality team sports experience to area youth. The mission of LC is to develop our athletes to their full potential and to promote participation in youth sports in our community.

Lawncrest achieves its mission through:

*The principles of positive coaching

*Providing a fun and safe environment for players, coaches, and families at practices and games.

*Ensuring all players are an important part of the team, regardless of athletic performance.

*Teaching lessons of sportsmanship and community service to all youth athletes.

*Teaching skills, tactics, and strategies of the game to improve our athletes.

Being a part of Lawncrest means Lawncrest coaches and athletes are held to the highest standard of conduct to foster sportsmanship, integrity, self-esteem, discipline, and ethical behavior.

LC will continue to achieve our mission through our dedicated volunteers, caring parents, and committed sponsors who wish to partner with our great youth sports organization.
