Youth Sports Registration Dates

Winter Basketball 2022-2023

Ages 3-15

October 10-November 1

Registration is $50 for Lowell Residents and $70 for Non-Residents. Registration fee includes child's jersey and shorts. Assessments for ages 7 and up will be during the week of November 21. (Exact days and times TBD.) Assessments are no cut - they are done to balance out the teams.) Practices will be in December. Games will be January and February. Practices and game days are selected after registration is complete, those dates are based on the number of kids that sign up and how many teams we have.

Ages 3-4 and 5-6 typically practice and play games on Saturdays only. Ages 7 and up practice and play games twice a week (one weekday at 6pm or later and one Saturday.) Practices and games are not typically on Wednesdays or Sundays, with the exception of 13-15s, they may have practices and/or games on Wednesday evenings. Ages 7 and up will be placed onto teams thru an assessment to ensure teams are evenly balanced. 

Practices will be at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Lowell. Games may be in Lowell, Belmont, Cramerton, or Gastonia. 

Please note that teams may fill up before the deadline. Please register early to ensure your child's spot.
