2024 MGSL Escrow Refund Process. UPDATE as of  9/25
 
All escrow refunds have been processed
 
Six Venmo payments went out on 8/9 - Max'd out for the week until 8/17
18 Venmo payments went out on 8/20 - Max'd out - will try every day
5 Venmo payments went out on 8/21
2 Venmo payments have gone out between 8/22 and 8/30
22 checks went out on Thursday 8/22
 
Venmo has blocked me from processing payments for the past three days - 20 teams remain to be procesed. 
Venmo escrow returns will restart on Sept 16th - 
All Escrow refunds have been processed 
11 teams have rolled over their refunds into 2025
 
 
1) The MGSL season for all divisions must be complete. I believe that happened on Tuesday night 7/30.
 
2) All (5) umpire services need to have submitted their year-end invoice
 
3) The D/C's need to have approved their divisions back charges.
 
When points 1, 2 & 3 are completed Escrow Refunds can begin 
 
Other points 
Organizations that pay for more than one team are less likely to be early in the system
Historically, Venmo is limited to $3000 per week - that means 10 teams per week (62 teams paid via Venmo)
The MGSL treasurer is on vacation 9/2-9/16 it his intent to have all paper checks mailed before 9/1
 
Teams that wish to roll over their escrow to the 2025 season need to send Dennis an email
Teams that rolled escrow over from 2023 to 2024 will have their escrow rolled again. To end the roll over process said team must email Dennis directly.

Metro Girls Softball League Fee is $375.00 plus $300.00 escrow fee 
(Escrow Fee is usually refundable)
 
 
 
What is included in your fee
5 Meetings (one of which is "new coaches")
Food and beverage at each meeting
Minimum  of 14 softballs
20 Pins for 10U -12U
25 Line up cards

 

Plus we are eliminating the Roster Fee. 
Plus a bucket every year.

10U - 14U trophies 16U and older Cloth goods awards
 
PONY Softball Rule book
MGSL Rule sheet (AKA Laminated Sheet)
PONY Challenge tournament
No umpire fees for post season championship games
     Three-man umpire crews for post season championship games

METRO GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUE INSURANCE

Team insurance will be $170 for coverage effective Jan 1 to Dec 31 2023.
