2024 Nor Cal Heat Elite Basketball Club Information
Nor Cal Heat Elite Basketball Club President Charles Roth established the organization in 2010. Through quality instruction, dedicated players and intelligent training, this organization is proving to be successful in Northern California.
Nor Cal Heat Elite Basketball Club is a Non-Profit Organization. We want to provide the opportunity for ALL players to be afforded the opportunity to participate! Therefore, this year we are preparing a fundraising plan to keep the cost low for all athletes. Cost for some local, and other organizations, range from $600 to Thousands of dollars to play (not including transportation and lodging). Our goal is to help the players raise money to supplement the costs involved in playing Basketball.
Our organization strives to put these young student athletes in front of College Scouts and Recruits for the opportunity to be seen in hopes of obtaining scholarships for college.
We work to develop the understanding of the game of Basketball to each athlete, grade and age range across the board. We do however break down and focus on individual skills, ball handling, shooting and training on an individual skill set/level basis.
6th – 8th grade players are enriched with emphasizing the importance of family values, academic achievement, good sportsmanship and fair play. Nor Cal Heat Elite Basketball Club is proud to offer an environment that shapes their character and provide positive coaching that focuses on techniques, fundamentals, competitiveness, team play and prepares these young players for school play.
Freshman & JV players are geared towards mastering their skills by developing their intellectual game. We offer these athletes opportunity to shape their character, build their skills, enhance techniques, as well as provide them with positive coaching.
Varsity players are geared toward all of the above preparations, techniques and values as well as place them in “SHOWCASE” tournaments to show their talents in front of College Scouts and Recruiters.
2024 Player Participation Fees will include: AAU Card, Insurance, Gym/Facilities Use, Tournament Fee, Administration Fee, Use of Uniform, etc.
3rd Grade -8th Grade Team Total Fees (Per Player) will be aprox. $300. These teams will participate in Aprox 5-6 local tournaments (Bay Area).
Frosh - JV Team Total Fees (Per Player) will be aprox. $350. These teams will participate in Aprox 7-8 local tournaments (Bay Area), with 1 being a Travel/Scouting/College Recruiter tournament (Fundraising Required).
Varsity / Elite Team Total Fees (Per Player) will be aprox. $400. These teams will participate in Aprox 7-8 local tournaments (Bay Area), with 2 of them being Travel/Scouting/College Recruiter tournaments (Fundraising Required).

Great Tournament win going 3-0 against Jayhawks, Steelhouse and Evolution.
1st Tournament of 2013 nets the Elite Team a 1st Place!!!
1st Tournament of 2013 nets the Nor Cal Heat Elite Varsity "ELITE" team a 1st Place.
The 1st team the ELITE faced were the San Mateo Suns. Hard nosed Defense and GREAT team play (Justin Saar's 16 pts, Hayden Ordone's 11 pts and Nick Merrill's 10pts) led to a 72-55 victory.
The 2nd team the ELITE faced were the Gladiators. 2 hour wait in between games had the ELITE team rusty and not able to make a shot in the 1st half. Once again, hard nosed Defense and GREAT team play (Nick Merrill's 9 pts, Leonard Locket's 8 pts and Jason Morrant's 7 pts) led to a 47-13 victory.
The 3rd and final game was a match up of 2 undefeated teams, the ELITE and the Hoop Academy, for the Championship. At the start, it was a back and forth game. But GREAT team play DeAndre Thompson's 10 pts, Justin Saar and Justin Lassitter both with 8 pts), hard nosed Defense, size and the desire to take home the Championship was too much for Hoop Academy. A 54-38 victory for the ELITE team netted them their 1st Championship in the 1st Tournament for 2013.
GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!
1st Tournament Nets CHAMPIONSHIP for the Organization!
Nor Cal Heat Elite's 1st Tournament nets them a Championship.
Playing in the Modesto JR College NAYS Tournament, they faced a tuff Buhach Colony High School. But with it being there first tournament game, the Nor Cal Heat Elite 16/U team had something to prove. They out hustled, out rebounded and flat out played there opponent. The outcome was a 41-25 victory.
The next game turned out to be for the Championship. There was a lot more to prove in this game, after Coach Charles’ challenging words to his players. With this in mind, “NO MERCY”, was implemented by the players. Teamwork, Hustle, Determination and Coach Charles’ words lingering in their ears, the victory was 66-23.
