2024 Memorial Day Weekend and more

Believe it or not, we are more than halfway through the season! It's been awesome to see the players out there playing week after week. We hope all of the players are enjoying the year.

Just a reminder for everyone that there are no games on Saturday, 5/25 and Monday, 5/27 due to the Memorial Day weekend/holiday. The season picks back up on Wednesday, 5/29 and continues until our final day, which is Saturday, 6/15. Be sure to check the website for the most up to date schedules.

Also, here is some information about Memorial Day weekend and more. There is a lot of information here, so please read through carefully:

Saturday, 5/25 - March with us in the Memorial Day Parade (weather permitting)
  • New Scotland Kiwanis has been invited to march in the Voorheesville Memorial Day Parade. We would love it if some of our players/parents marched with us that morning. Just wear your Kiwanis shirt and show up!
  • If you would like to march with us, please come to Circle Drive between 9:30AM and 9:45AM on Saturday, 5/25. Look for the Kiwanis Banner or other Kiwanis players and you'll be in the right spot. Don't forget to wear your Kiwanis shirt.
  • The parade kicks off promptly at 10AM, so please arrive between 9:30AM - 9:45AM.
  • You can bring along some candy to toss out along the parade route if you want to.
  • We ask that parents stay with their child through the entire parade.

Saturday, 6/15 - Final Games of the Season
  • The final games of the season will be played on Saturday, 6/15. After all of the games are played, we will have an end of the year BBQ at Swift Road Town Park (pavilion). The BBQ will start at noon, so please come and relax after a fun season.
  • Feel free to bring a dish to share, but be sure to bring it with you when you leave.
  • If there is enough interest, we will also play a fun Coaches Softball game after the BBQ. Parents are invited to play too. If you are interested in playing, just reply to this email.
