Registration is OPEN for the 2025-26 Basketball season from 9/29/25 until 11/8/25. 

Save $10 by registering by 10/12/25!  We also offer a sibling discount of $5 per sibling off of your registration!

***Important Registration System Note for returning families:  After signing in please be sure to update the contact section for parents/guardians.  Your "DOB" (date of birth) is now required (it previously was not) to confirm you are above 18 years of age (required by League Lineup). If it does not provide you an option to update this then add a new contact in the drop down.  Abbreviating/changing your first name is recommended to get it to work.  League Lineup Support has been notified and is working on the issue. The optional registration insurance at the end of the registration process is not required (NYA will reimburse registration fees in most case prior to the start of the season).

We’re looking forward to another great season! Please note the information and important dates below:

• Practices:  are scheduled to begin on or around November 8th (date is subject to change) for 5th thru 8th grades. Practices for the 3/4 group will start in early December.  The k-2 program sessions will begin in mid-December and run on Saturday mornings, no practices during the week. Practices for 3^rd – 8^th are typically one night per week and Saturday or Sunday (as needed) morning until the season gets started. Practices will be held at Nottingham School Gym.
• Evaluations: November 7th and 8th (Grades 3-8 only) at the Nottingham School Gym. Time and schedule TBD.
• Midnight Madness:  The NYA will be hosting a basketball season kickoff night for K-8^th grade teams on November 22nd (Time is 3 PM - 8 PM, events for each level are staggered). There will be free T-Shirts (for each registered player) and a half court shooting contest for prizes during half time of each game.  Concessions will be available for purchase! Donations will be collected at the door.  Come support our teams as we get the season off to a great start! 
• Coaches Clinic:  Information to be shared soon!
• Mini-Basketball (K-2nd grade):  December 13th
• Games for 3/4th grade group will begin in December.  Our 5th/6th grade teams will be part of the Lamprey River Basketball League this year and games will begin on December 6th.  Our 7th and 8th grade goup will remain with the Seacoast Collaborative League and games will begin later in December.
• Fundraiser:  More information to come.
• Registration Fees:  Please note that Registration Costs cover uniforms, equipment and supplies, insurance, league fees/dues, facility costs (cleaning services) etc...  We offer an early bird $10 discount for the first couple of weeks of registration.  After the early bird period has ended we continue to offer a $5 discount per additional sibling.  We are fortunate to have generous sponsors who support our programs and help keep our registration fees low.  If you are in need of financial assistance due to any hardship please do not hesitate to contact us via email at nottinghamyouthassoc@gmail.com.
• If your daughter/son plans on trying out for the school team and is not sure he/she will be playing NYA Rec basketball please register regardless.  We will refund your registration fees immediately upon notification (email us at nottinghamyouthassoc@gmail.com).

The Nottingham Youth Association is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that offers sports opportunities for Nottingham children.

We are an all-volunteer organization!

As such, we are always looking for people who would like to help improve youth sports in Nottingham. The NYA sponsors programs for baseball, softball, and basketball. NYA Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in improving youth sports in Nottingham!
