- For the safety of students, school buildings are locked until 6:00pm. DO NOT enter beforehand!
- Parents picking up their children from practice may enter school to pick-up child.
- Coaches upon completion of your practice take your participants to the main entrance for pick-up.
- No PRACTICES if school's are CLOSED!

RE: Elementary school gymnasiums
For the safety of our students, the elementary buildings are locked until 6:00pm. We are NOT allowed to enter the gym prior to your start time! At the conclusion of your practices, coaches please take all of your participants to the school entrance to be released. Do not leave until all your players have been picked-up by their parent. Parents may also enter the school at the conclusion of practice and greet their son/daughter at the exit (door) of the gymnasium.
1. WE SERVE CHILDREN WITH SEVERE FOOD ALLERGIES. THEREFORE, NO SNACKS ARE ALLOWED.
2. No school materials, including safety materials may be used or handled by the children in your group. This includes white board markers, pencils, crayons, etc.
3. Pick up any papers/garbage off the floor. This allows our custodial staff to be able to clean the floors in a timely manner.

Coaches,
We can't stress equal playing time for each player enough! This is a recreation program and it is a guideline that all players get equal playing time throughout a game. DO NOT give your team an advantage by playing your more skilled players more often than other on the team. You must utilize the "Equal Playing Time Plan" during games (you'll find the form attached to the last page of our rules). Thank you for your understanding!

A. Fighting, foul language and intimidation among players or anyone else associated with the Northville Parks and Recreation youth basketball program; including parents, coaches, fans or referees will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection from the game and a mandatory one (1) game suspension for the next scheduled game. Further penalties may be imposed by the Northville Parks and Recreation Department. Second offense will result in expulsion from the Northville Parks and Recreation league.
NO PRACTICE if schools are closed!!!
Practice is cancelled for all school gyms when schools are closed for the day. This includes Election Day, Snow Day, all major Holidays etc. There will be NO PRACTICE if schools are closed during the day! (exception: Friday of WTR break)
