PA Diamond Kings is proud to announce that we have a new Corporate Sponsor for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. PowerNet , a nationwide retailer of Baseball / Softball training equipment designed to improve the fundamentals of the game, will be partnering with our organization to provide valuable equipment for the development of our boys. With that partnership we will be changing our name to POWERNET Diamond Kings effective this season! Our quality training program now coupled with the vast array of training products offered by POWERNET will provide endless opportunities to increase repetitions and improve fundamental game performance for our players.

Diamond Kings will be in Washington PA, Home of the Washington Wild Things! Come out and join us from 10-Noon for 10U-12U and Noon to 2PM for 13U-15U.Each Team will be looking to add players and what better place to come work out with us and show what you have. Sign up using the registration form and we will see you on the 20th!

The Diamond Kings will be holding our first two tryout dates of for the 2016-2017 teams on Tuesday July 26th and Wednesday July 27th from 5PM-8PM at Gateway Middle School (4450 Old William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146)

We are looking to field at least 4 age groups from the 10-15U levels but will entertain filling all age groups if interested coaches and players attend tryouts. We currenlty will have teams in the 12U, 14U and 15U age groups for next year that will be looking to fill positions. New teams and coaches are welcome at all age groups as stated above.

There is no fee to tryout and you are welcome to attend multiple sessions. You must fill out the tryout registration form located on our website main page prior to attending a tryout. Please bring all baseball equipment with you andn plenty of water to drink. Rainouts and cancellations will be posted to this site.

The Diamond Kings are pleased to welcome Tyler Craig, fresh off his career at La Roche college, to our coaching staff. Along with an impressive playing resume Tyler brings a passion and enthusiasm to the game that will benefit the players in our organization tremendously. Welcome Tyler!

The Diamond Kings and the Gators Baseball Club will be teaming up for the 2016-2017 season The Gators and Head Coach Jerry Camuso bring a veteran group of players that have been a force on the travel circuit for the past few years. The Gators and Diamond Kings have been built on a philosophy of development and pushing players to exceed at high levels of play at even the youngest ages. Our goal is to field teams in the 10u-15U ages with our older groups focusing on high level showcase style tournaments. . We will have a full off season program as the Diamond Kings have had in the past but in a new, soon to be announced facility. We are actively seeking coaches in a few age brackets and would to talk to you if you want to be a part of this exciting new opportunity. The Diamond Kings were proud to host former Major League and Olympic Gold Medalist pitcher Rick Krivda at our practices this week. Rick was able to share his knowledge with the kids about pitching as well as the hard work and dedication it takes to make it to baseballs highest level. It always nice to have a local guy (Rick graduated from McKeesport High School) come back and share his success with the boys. Thanks again Rick and we look forward to seeing you again this spring/summer!

THE PA Diamond Kings will be holding tryouts Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th from 10AM -2PM at White Oak Athletic Association complex. We will be looking for players from 9U-13U for the upcoming year. We will be evaluating fielding, base running, hitting, pitching and catching so bring your equipment accordingly. There is no charge to tryout. We are also looking for a few coaches in the 9U and 10U age divisions. If you are interested or have any questions please give me a call.

This partnership brings them an established travel baseball organization to be part of their program and brings the Diamond Kings a complex with lighted fields, concession and an indoor gym for training. The 9U team wins another championship in thrilling fashion in Lancaster making it 2 first place finishes in a row! Trailing 8-1 in the last inning against the York Revolution the Kings rally to tie the score and then go on to score 5 more runs in the 7th inning and hang on for the 13-9 victory!

The boys went undefeated on the weekend and outscored their opponents 26-5 in the process. Nice job on your first championship boys!

The 11U team went undefeated on their way to the tournament championship. They beat a very determined Erie Bombers team 5-4 in the final, coming back from a 4-1 deficit with 3 runs in the 5th inning to tie it and then scoring the go ahead run in the 6th before shutting down the Bombers to close out the win!

The 9U team went undeafeated in pool play earning the #1 seed and then shut out Steel City Select 7-0 in the semi-final. In the final they ran into a buzzsaw in Butler Baseball and dug themselves an early hole they could not recover from. Nonetheless the group played phenomenal all weekend and came home with the runner-up trophy!

The PA Diamond Kings would like to thank everyone for attending our 1st Annual Strike Out Diabetes fundraiser tournament.

Tough Man Awards go to Mason Frye, Gavin Berardi, and Alex Stegman....Did anyone even know that they battle Type 1 Diabetes? I don't think so! They were all some of the best players in the tournament and no doubt Heroes in my mind!

Based upon all the feedback I've received looks like we will do this again next year same place and same date (Day before Easter). Save the Date and spread the word..... we'll try to get more teams and raise even more money next year!
