Welcome to St. Mary’s County T-ball Youth Organization (SMCTBYO). We are a co-ed nonprofit organization, that has served our community for over 25 years. We provide young and beginning players the opportunity to safely participate in a team sport while learning the basics of the game in a supportive environment.
SMCTBYO has two goals for each season. Coaches will teach the fundamentals of the game including; fielding, throwing, and catching. They will also work on hitting, base running and most importantly sportsmanship and having fun.
SMCTBYO covers the majority of St. Mary’s county. We have two divisions, the north and the south. The Northern Division currently plays at Lettie Dent, White Marsh, Mechanicsville, Dynard, and Banneker Elementary schools, as well as Margaret Brent Middle School. We also use Country Lakes, 7th District and Laurel Grove (aka Bagget Parks). The Southern Division currently plays at Carver, Green Holly, Chancellors Run Park and Evergreen Elementary schools. Additionally we use Leonardtown Middle school and Chancellors Run Park (Home of our All-star game).
