No Tolerance Policy
The MWBL board would like to remind everyone that this is a recreation softball and baseball league, and it is a league for our kids to play the game they love. We realize that there will sometimes be situations deemed to be bad calls, and/or situations during the course of a game that may be incorrect or seem unfair. Many times these issues come about because of a lack of knowledge of the rules. Everyone is human, and mistakes are going to be made by umpires. Keep in mind, that in the end it will all even out and that the umpires are doing their best to call the games fairly.
There have been incidents in past seasons resulting in coaches, parents, and players being ejected from games. This will not be tolerated in our league, so with that the MWBL board has put a No Tolerance Policy in place. if anyone (player, coach, fan) is ejected from any MWBL game by an umpire or association from their field, the incident will be reviewed by the MWBL board which may lead to the individual or individuals being suspended from playing, coaching, and/or attending any games for the remainder of the season, including the tournament. Thank you for your understanding of this policy and our need to strictly enforce it.
