DAWGS Mission Statement

Tidewater Dawgs Youth Football and Cheerleading League (TWDFCL) is a community based charitable, volunteer organization charged with encouraging leadership and building character..  This year we will concentrate on maintaining our flag, tackle and cheer program that will allow the youths of Tidewater to grow as athletes and as well rounded citizens as well.  In order to achieve these goals we will focus on instilling the following values of  self-discipline, friendship, leadership and good sportsmanship.  We will assist in developing young men and women who learn, the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, while gaining a sense of community pride and selfless service.  We will emphasize the importance of teamwork, education and personal growth in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind and character while having fun.
