Washington County Select was created to give players in Washington County, Maryland the opportunity to further develop their skills by competing against elite competition and to showcase their talents as baseball players in front of prospective college/professional scouts. It is also hoped that baseball in Washington County will continue to grow and will continue to emerge to the forefront as one of the premier areas for baseball in the state of Maryland. In 2016, Washington County Select will enter it's 7th year of providing opportunities for baseball players in Washington County.
