News

This week:

April 8, 2019

We have had a few changes this week:

1) Our schedule changed a couple of weeks ago. This week Varsity is playing El Cajon. Wednesday we play at home at 4:00 and Friday is away at 4:00.

2) Due to the schedule change, JV will not have games this week because El Cajon does NOT have a JV team. Some boys will be playing Novice games and others will practice.

3) Novice will be playing at Helix (White) at 4:00 on Monday and Saturday is a game at Otay Ranch at 9:30am (this is a time change)

4) See's Candy orders are Monday afternoon or Tuesday at 3:00pm AT THE VERY LATEST!! You can turn it in to Kelly on Monday and Tuesday at 3:00, the school office to put in the baseball mailbox or to your coach on Monday. I am trying to get the orders tallied and turned in by Tuesday afternoon so that I can pick them up Thursday afternoon for delivery Friday. Make checks payable to WHHS Baseball.

5) We have extra spirit pack gear if anyone is interested. Not all sizes and not all items. First come, first served.

Rosters

February 10, 2019

Practice rosters are posted right now.  THESE ARE NOT THE FINAL ROSTERS!!  We still have a few guys that need to complete their tryout or need another look from the coaches.  (If you were not able to try out, your players name is not listed.  That does not mean he is cut.)  If your player is listed on the varsity roster, please show up to a 2:30 practice tomorrow (Monday).  That is be ready to start practice at 2:30...do not show up at 2:30.  Varsity will also have weight room at 4:35 tomorrow.  JV will practice at 11:00am Monday on the varsity field.

If your son turned in his physical and was sent away without a clearance, they are looking for a stamp from the doctors office. The stamp must contain the doctors name. If a nurse practitioner performed the physical, the overseeing doctors name must be on the stamp. Please get the physicians stamp and turn it in on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday). WE MUST HAVE A SIGNED, STAMPED CLEARANCE FORM BY TUESDAY BEFORE PRACTICE OR YOUR PLAYER MAY NOT BE ON THE FIELD.

As stated above, these rosters are not final.  There WILL be changes and additions.

Look for information regarding a parent meeting that will take place this week.  THIS IS A MANDATORY MEETING!  Date, time and place will be posted shortly.  JV and Varsity schedules are posted on MaxPreps but will be posted here as well.

Dogs on Campus

I received a call from the facilities manager at the school. Many people are bringing their dogs to the games. Animals on campus are strictly prohibited at all times. Although most of our pets are harmless, this is school policy. Please leave your animals at home. Please pass this on to your guests as well. We would hate to have to ask someone to leave. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
