Welcome to the York Township Baseball Club Website
Welcome to the official website of the York Township Baseball Club (Susquehanna Baseball League) in Spry (York Township), PA! We were founded in 1969 by our friend and baseball benefactor, Carlton "Connie Mac" McWilliams. Mr. McWilliams was a local businessman, York Township Recreation Board member, and an avid baseball enthusiast. His goal was to create a team for young local ballplayers in York Township, the Dallastown School District, and the local Spry area. "Connie Mac" was our first Field Manager ... and later was our Official Scorekeeper and Public Address Announcer. His efforts were instrumental in the birth of The York Township Baseball Club. Along with other local business people and fans - especially, Phil Bowman, Everett "Ev" Clark, Elwood "Duck" Smith, Dick Culbertson, Nelson Fitzkee, etc. - they created a strong and supportive baseball environment for local young players giving them an opportunity to follow their baseball dreams. We remain in their debt. And work to continue the legacy the entrusted to us.
