Spectator Rule: any spectator that is ejected from a game will be suspended for a minimum of three games. Two ejections will be a minimum of a one year suspension. Please remember this is a youth sports league with the results having no bearing on their future success in life. The league WILL NOT respond to complaints about officiating from anyone other than each program's coordinator. Please take the time to click here and read the rule. Here is a great video from UMass Coach Frank Martin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fc5BfCCFzQI
There is NO APPEAL to a spectator ejection. Just root on your team in a positive way, and let the officials officiate, good or bad. Your negative comments only make things worse.
Please note...the BSABL has nothing to do with tryouts or individual player registrations. Please reach out to your communities recreation department and/or basketball association to find out registration information for your program. We know those tryouts and registrations are all taking place now. Additionally, we are a true community program that does not allow all-star teams. You must reside in your community, be part of the school choice program and/or part of the regional school district. If your community doesn't offer a team, players from that community are ineligible for participation. Go to the "Forms" page for more information.
