Doug is in his 20th year of coaching baseball this year, combining Little League, JBO, and High School. Born in Auburn Washington he started playing baseball at the age of 6 and hasn't stopped yet. He attended Glencoe High School and was part of the 1986 the Metro League Baseball Championship team. While not coaching, he plays baseball throughout the year in the NABA/MSBL over 35 year old leagues (multiple teams). Favorite baseball team is the Amazing Mets! Coaching philosophy : to teach players how to play the game of baseball with passion and discipline and encourage them to do it with a smile.
