Snappers Offense Explodes In 14-1 Win
South Hills was held scoreless through two innings and exploded in the third with 7 runs. Dave McCarthy led off the inning with a single, followed by a bunt single by Wes White. After a strikeout, Mike McCarthy and Brandon Whitfield both singled in a run to make it 2-0. After two walks and an error, John Zilles singled to make the game 7-1. In the fourth inning, Whitfield started off with a double and was scored on a Jon Leber single. Pat Trettle then hit a triple to plate another run. The Snappers finished the game in the fifth by scoring five more runs to complete the game.
