Meeting 3/13/06
March 13, 2006
At the League meeting March 13 some exciting events took place. First, the new and improved stat sheets were passed out to all managers as well as fabulous contact sheets provided by Bob Botelho. Great Job Bob!
This season game-by-game and league stats will be kept online allowing all players and managers to keep track of other players in the league and themselves. This will also prevent "questionable scoring" that the league has not spoken of, or addressed, in the past.
The League Rules were then discussed.
- RULE CHANGE - League stats must be turned in no later than two weeks after the completion of games. If stats are not turned in to Ian at the meeting, by fax, or by email, fines will be levied. Late stats will result in a $20 fine to the responsible manager. Until stats are turned in, the responsible team will be the visiting team in all games. The location of the game will not change.
- RULE CHANGE - Player entrance fees have been increased to $40 per player in order to cover the cost of necessary insurance for the league.
- A vote to increase the number of exempt players for each team was defeated and exemptions will remain the same.
More news next week.
