Football Players Needed
Space is still available for the Midget (ages 6-7) and Small Fry (ages 10-11) divisions in tackle football. Anyone interested may come to Moncks Corner Town Hall to register. Bring birth certificate if they haven't played in MC Rec program previously. Any questions, call 719-7900.
Update on Mr. Kitts (Dewayne's father)

Mr. Kitts had a rough day. Lungs filling with fluid. Back on the ventilator as he can't breathe on his own. Developed a fever. Blood pressure jumped up causing the fluid to accumulate. Taking nitroglycerin for blood pressure. As you can see, he needs extra prayer at this time. Continue praying for the family as they thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
Youth Soccer registration
Registration will be accepted on a space available basis for soccer at Moncks Corner Town Hall. Age divisions are 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15. This league is co-ed. For additional information, call Town Hall at 719-7900.
Fall Baseball/Fast Pitch Softball registration
will be held August 4 through 22 at Moncks Corner Town Hall. Baseball ages are 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. Fast pitch softball ages are 9-12. Age cut-off date is April 30, 2009. Call 719-7900 for more information. Fees are $15 for in-town residents and $35 for out-of-town.
Moncks Corner Mavericks 12U National Champions
They went 7-1 to capture the USSSA Southeast Summer Nationals Championship. Congratulations to the coaching staff and players. An article with picture will be posted in the Post and Courier and Berkeley Independent in the near future.
Moncks Corner Mavericks 13U roster
The team roster has been completed for the 13U team: Chase Dunlap, Ryan Locklear, Chase Stoudenmire, Parker Little, Colton Kluenie, Connor Teague, Jeffery Stone, Sawyer Bridges, TJ Hopkins, Bryce Kunkle, Dillon Salisbury, Jared Dobbels and Kramer Jance. Thanks to all for trying out. 12U team will be announced as they become available.

In an effort to better inform participants and parents, we have offered the opportunity to view our Athletic sports program registration information and rules and regulations for our athletic programs. Click Handouts under Main Menu then click appropriate section to view. You may view rulebooks for the Dixie baseball/softball leagues by going to Dixie.org and print out appropriate rule book.
