Royaal Jones '16 is the first Rugby player to ever be named Hudson Reporter Male Athlete of the Year

Senior wings, Royaal Jones and Malcolm Stewart, along with sophomore lock, Andres Gomes, were named to the NJ 2016 Single School All-State Team.  Jones has been a 3-time member of the All-State team and is on USA Rugby's radar for his 4.4 speed and its impact on 7s.  He has committed to national collegiate rugby power, AIC.  Stewart has only played rugby for one year, yet seamlessly transitioned his football skills to the rugby pitch as his breakaway speed was on exhibit all season, but especially in a 3 try performance against CBA.  Gomes is the rare second row player whose best attribute is his kicking ability. Gomes' boot made him a deadly threat from all over the field as he showed accuracy out to 40 yards, prompting one opposing coach to call him "the best kicker in New Jersey this year."
