Damascus & Seneca Tri-Meet

Anytime QO and Damascus face each in sports it is a big deal and very competitive. This year's dual match was no different as it came down to the wire with the teams tied 33-33 going into the last match. Unfortunately that match went Damascus's way and they won the team match 39-33 for QO's second dual match loss of the season. In QO's second dual match of the day QO secured an easy win over an under matched and short-handed Seneca team 60-22.  Photos

QO 75 Einstein 6

QO met another under-matched and shorthanded division foe this week with Einstein. Einstein gave up seven forfeits and managed only one win. The next five dual matches will not be the same though as QO will run into the toughest stretch of the season. Up this Saturday will be a tri-meet at Magruder High School along with Springbrook. The match will begin at 1:00 PM.  Next Wednesday will be the last home match and therefore it will be Senior Night with a tough match against Whitman High School. The last duals will follow on Saturday Febuary 5th at Northwest along with Wootton. Please come out and support QO in these final matches!

QO Falls Hard

After starting the season with a 7-2 record in dual competition the QO team, weakened by injuries and sickness, dropped their last five dual matches against some of the toughest competition in the county. Now with the dual season completed the Cougars will prepare for end of season tournaments starting off with the JV Tournament on February 12th at Gaithersburg High School. On the weekend of February 18th-19th the varsity team will compete in the Montgomery County Championships at Blair High School. Those qualifying will advance to the 3A-4A West Region Tournament.

Senior Day

Many QO fans, families, cheerleaders and school administrators all showed up to honor the seven out-going seniors and their parents. The seniors included Taylor Boyd, Greg Holland, Jake Kolwalski, Sean-Patrick Moore, Greg Turlik, Austin Williams, and manager Taylor Corydon. Great job seniors and best wishes as you finish up your senior year and prepare for the next chapter of your life! Photos
