BIO:

Coach Busby is originally from the Florida panhandle, where he graduated from high school in 1998.  He attended the University of West Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training in 2002.  Coach Busby then moved to Texas and earned his Master's degree in Education from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2004.  He spent 6 years working in the high school setting as an athletic trainer in the east Texas area before moving to San Diego, CA to work as an athletic trainer for the US Navy and Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton.  He spent 7 years there before moving to Austin with his family.  Coach Busby's wife, Amanda, is a veterinarian.  They currently have two daughters, named Harper and Henley.

 During his "free time" he enjoys running, riding his bike, and just about anything outdoors, but he is most happy being with his family and his dogs.  He is available to all student-athletes for injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
