President

The President is empowered to:

- call and preside over all AWSL meetings
- represent AWSL in its dealings with the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation
- represent AWSL in its contacts with other women's leagues and similar organizations
- represent AWSL in its contacts with the referee association
- coordinate the work of league officers and volunteers
- assist with the scheduling of games
- ensure that bills are paid in a timely manner
